More about specification, comparing and frequently asked questions
Window or door as the starting point
First, tell us which opening you use. A window that tilts, a door that swings, and a sliding patio door each have different movements. We look at that movement before a specification is chosen; the insect screen must not unintentionally hinder use.
Clear passage and movement
For a door, the full opening counts. If there are two door panels, show both in the open position; do not assess the insect screen based on just one panel being open. For a sliding patio door, we look at the sliding section and the clear walkway. The insect screen and its fixed mounting connection are assessed together with the door, handle, and any other window decoration.
Fitting and use
Fitting depends on the frame and the chosen type. Share clear photos for an initial consultation, but have the final dimensions and connection assessed in person. No universal promise is made here regarding installation without drilling.
Maintenance according to supplier
The mesh, profiles, and moving parts each have their own maintenance instructions. At the time of handover, please ask how to open, close, and clean the insect screen. Specific features such as pollen protection will only be discussed if they have been confirmed for your particular specification.
Good to know
Which insect screen suits my opening?
That depends on the opening, movement, available space, and deliverable specification. A photo is helpful at the initial consultation.
Can the door still move fully?
We assess the door and insect screen together, including the handle, clearance, and other window decoration. Compatibility is not a general guarantee.
Which configuration does OZKA supply for my situation?
OZKA confirms the appropriate solution after assessing your situation. Product images illustrate possibilities; your quote sets out the chosen option.
