Window decoration for your tilt-and-turn window.
Opening and tilting are two movements. When making your choice, we consider both, along with the handle and the available space.
Testing opening and tilting
A window may look like a close fit in a photograph, yet the window decoration may catch a wall or handle when opened. Show both positions: fully open and tilted. Also describe how often you use those positions, for example for ventilation or cleaning.
Distance to the handle
The window handle must remain accessible. We check how much space there is between the handle, glass, frame profile, and fabric. A deep window sill or a narrow recess can also influence the choice. A fitting mounted on the window operates differently from a system installed outside the frame.
Fitting by type
A fixing must suit the frame and the system. Not every window is compatible with every type of fitting, and a clamp solution is not automatically available or appropriate. We record the chosen fixing method; do not drill or order on the basis of a general impression.
Product choice following assessment
We compare a pleated blind, roller blind or another option based on your use. An insect screen is a separate choice for the opening. Consider all the elements together so that the window remains accessible and operable. First the situation, then the product.
Good to know
Does the handle remain accessible?
The available space at the handle will be checked against the chosen option. Please indicate any restrictions in advance.
Can the window tilt fully?
We look at the tilted position as well as fully open. Choosing a product based on the closed position alone is not sufficient.
Which fitting suits the window frame?
That depends on your window frame and the system you choose. Together we'll look at whether fitting without drilling is possible for your window.
We'll measure up for that.
Tell us about your window and your wishes. We will agree on the date and specification together.
