A beautiful choice must also be practical. That is why, before making a proposal, we look not only at the size but also at how your window opens and where the window decoration will be positioned.
Prepare: ensure windows are accessible and discuss the finishing
Make sure the windows are accessible. Show how you use the space and what is still changing with the floor, ceiling or window frame. Photos and your own measurements are helpful for the first conversation. They are not definitive production data.
Measuring up: dimensions, movement and installation position
When measuring, we look at more than just width and height. The opening, handle, clearance, position of the stack, and mounting surface are all part of the assessment. Please also indicate any existing window decoration, insect screens, and any limitations.
Proposal: confirm the specification and costs
The proposal sets out the chosen specification: product, fabric or material, colour, dimensions, operation and agreed work. Discuss costs, any additional terms and the schedule before giving your approval. A preferred date is not yet a confirmed installation appointment.
Installation: reviewing agreements and operation
At installation, we go through placement and operation together. Discuss how to open, close and maintain the product, and note any outstanding points. The work order and agreed specification form part of the file; acceptance of a quotation is not the same as confirmation of completed work.

Does the floor need to be laid first?
For a definitive curtain length, the relevant floor finish and track position must be known. Please let us know of anything that may still change.
What if my window frame is still being altered?
Please notify us of any changes before the final measurements and order are confirmed. An altered window frame may require a new assessment.
What do we discuss before installation?
Access, substrate, installation, operation and scheduling. Costs and any additional work should be included in the proposal upfront.
