Gathering requirements per room
You can start gathering ideas even before the property is handed over. Make a short list for each room: letting in light, limiting the view from outside, sleeping, working or accessing the outdoors. A floor plan and preliminary photos are helpful for the conversation. They are not yet a definitive order measurement.
Floor and ceiling finish
A floor, plastering or ceiling finish can change the available space. Please indicate what is still to be applied and where rails or profiles are to be fitted. For floor-length curtains, the finished state forms part of the measurements.
Book a definitive measurement appointment
Please arrange your measuring appointment for when the window and its finishing are ready for a final measurement. A provisional appointment and the confirmed final measurement are separate steps. If the frame or floor changes afterwards, do let us know before production or installation is agreed.
Confirm installation schedule
Set out the sequence of any other work alongside the installation. Are walls finished and windows accessible? Who confirms the space is ready? A clear agreement prevents a preferred date from being taken as a firm delivery commitment.

Can I view fabrics in advance?
Yes, you can discuss your wishes and examples early on. The final finish and dimensions will follow after assessment of the completed situation.
