Tilting and raising
Tilting and raising are two separate actions. Tilting changes the angle of the slats; raising clears the window. Please let us know when you use each function so that the controls suit your daily routine.
Comparing material and colour
Compare colour and material with real samples. The slat width and finish influence the appearance at the window. A material name alone does not tell you what the exact specification can accommodate; we look at the details of the chosen system.
Space for the package
A raised Venetian blind remains a stack. The space above the window and the position of the handle therefore both count. We also assess the window when open. For large windows, we discuss dividing them into sections and the limits of what can be supplied.
Check operation and installation
Record which side you operate from and how the window is used. Cords, accessibility and the fitting location are all part of the assessment. For cleaning and daily use, follow the instructions of the chosen supplier.

Wood or aluminium: what should I compare?
Compare appearance, the weight of the chosen specification, operation, and maintenance using real samples. Suitability for a damp room must be confirmed for each system.
Does the stack fit above my window?
We check that with the chosen specification and fitting location. Stack height is not a fixed universal measurement.
Which operating mechanism suits my usage?
The available operation and its side will be set out in the proposal. The availability of motors or specific systems will be confirmed first.
