A pleated blind and tiltable slats work differently. Start with what you would like to do with the light, the view in, and the window.
Fabric or slats
Pleated blinds form a pleated fabric; Venetian blinds consist of slats. With slats, you change the position by tilting them. With a pleated blind, you discuss the possible movement of the fabric per system. First choose which operation you need on a daily basis.
Controlling light and sightlines
Do you want to direct a sightline or cover part of the window? Compare both options under the same light and privacy conditions. The fabric and slat finish also play a role. The product type alone does not determine how much privacy or light-blocking your final choice will provide.
Stack and window movement
Also consider what happens when the window needs to be clear. The stack must have somewhere to go, and the handle must remain accessible. A tilt-and-turn window requires assessment in both positions. Which mounting suits depends on the window frame and the available option.
Comparing sample and finish
Place the actual samples side by side and discuss operation, colour, fitting and maintenance. A sample from another manufacturer is not an OZKA specification. The proposal should state the finish actually chosen, including any additional costs.

Tilting controls the slats; a fabric covers part of the window. We will confirm which pleated blind movements are available per system.
How do I use the window?
Please indicate whether you open the window by turning, tilting, or simply leave it closed. The handle, stacking, and installation must all support that movement.
