View the fabric in your own light
Start with the light you want to keep. Take a sample to the window and look at it with the room lights on as well. A colour on a screen cannot show you how the fabric looks next to your floor or wall. Discuss your requirements for privacy and for blackout separately.
Discuss light transmission and privacy
The pleat and the track belong together. A wave look requires suitable hanging; a double pleat gives a different rhythm at the top of the fabric. We record the chosen option in the proposal. Not every fabric falls the same way in every pleat.
Pleat, track and space for the stack
Where does the fabric rest when everything is open? Allow space beside the glass and take account of a door, radiator or walkway. For the length, we look at the finished floor and the position of the track. Provisional measurements do not replace a definitive on-site measure.
Measuring, proposal and installation
The price follows from the agreed fabric, size, pleat, track, and installation. Ask for an overview of the specification and any additional costs. Let's first make the agreements clear; then we will know exactly what will be made and fitted.

What is the difference between wave and a double pleat?
Wave forms a continuous wave with a matching rail. A double pleat gathers the fabric at the top differently. Compare a real example and the space required.
What determines the price of made-to-measure curtains?
Fabric, size, pleat, track and installation together determine the price. OZKA will send you a quote tailored to your chosen specification.
